The interior and exterior of this 1967 Plymouth Belvedere II has a great mix of vintage style and sporty flair. And when you look under the hood, the 408ci stroker V8 really brings this whole package together with awesome Mopar muscle. The color on this coupe holds close to 1967s Turbine Bronze. Its a great color for lovers of Mopar history, and in the case of this more recent application, theres also quite a nice glow in the sunshine. These Belvederes were the intermediate class, but the design team really wanted to give them a full-size look. Thats why the outer headlights are framed with big bezels, the bumpers are big chrome kings, and the sheetmetal has long uninterrupted lines that seem to make this coupe even longer. It makes for both a substantial and stylish car. This one does have GTX-style stripes painted on top (and when you read about the engine you know this one has earned them.) This black looks good against the bronze, and they go with the black vinyl roof. It has a clean and taut appearance that really symbolizes classic elegance, and so it feels right on a well-done hardtop like this. The exterior black accents are also a preview of the full black interior. Its a very vintage style inside, and the fundamentals like the seats, carpeting, dash pad, door panels, and headliner all have a good presentation. There are some people who may want to update some pieces, and the value price on this muscle Mopar certainly leaves room in your budget. But what we really like is that this one really retains the right feel for those of us who love classic details. Theres the thin/grippy Plymouth steering wheel, driver-oriented dash, bench seats wide enough for six people over two rows, and there are even the factory A/C controls (it will need servicing and components to function again.) Its a true vintage experience, right down to the crisp and correct trunk mat. The engine bay is ready to show off. For the same reason why we love the look of the copper-like paint with a black roof on the exterior is why its so attractive to see the copper inner walls of the engine bay with a dark Mopar powerhouse in the middle. But what really makes this one impressive is the motors build. Its a 408 cubic-inch stroker V8. It includes an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock hi-rise intake, flat tappet cam, and long tube headers. We have the dyno sheet from Blueprint Engines that shows this was making 380+ horsepower, and was installed only about 10 years ago. Its even supported by the right pieces, like an MSD ignition and an aluminum radiator. This is a big power machine that also wants to be a proper Belvedere cruiser. Thats why you have a stout but smooth A727 Torqueflite three-speed automatic transmission. Theres also additional good anytime driving features, like power steering, front disc brakes, and wide tires on Mopars Road wheels. The sale comes complete with the owners manual, build recipes, and maintenance records. This is the stylish Belvedere with a truly awesome Mopar heart. So at a price like this, you need to be quick to get it in your garage. Call today!!!
