Verkäuferkommentare zu 1967' Pontiac Le Mans

Still wearing its factory-issue colors both inside and outside and harboring whats likely its original engine under the hood, this 1967 Pontiac LeMans Convertible is one compelling classic. Its a strong driver thats ready to hit the boulevard with no delay and once it arrives on the scene its sure to attract plenty of attention with its well-turned out, thoroughly authentic appearance. That distinctive Montreux Blue paint draped over its exterior is the very same shade this car left the assembly line with more than a half century ago and, having been refreshed a while back, is looking sharp, ornamented up front by a pair of broad black stripes running together down each side of the scoop on its long hood and down its deck lid. As a 67, it represents the last class of the model to have been equipped with those unique stacked dual headlights. The open air siren call of this vintage GM muscle car is undeniable, but for those times when the weather wont cooperate with your plans, theres a black canvas convertible top waiting to rise up for protection - its in great shape, appears nearly new and features a clear glass rear window thats much more resistant to UV damage than its plastic counterparts. The casings surrounding those distinctive headlights, as well as the remainder of the exterior trim, are in solid condition - some polishing in a few areas will have the exterior looking even sharper than it already does. The clean vinyl interior is still dressed in its factory-issue blue color, is in solid shape and retains its original configuration, with the exception of added aftermarket speakers in the driver and passenger door panels. Youll find only the slightest signs of wear in the front buckets and both they and the rear bench seat loom over an expanse of factory correct blue carpeting thats well fitted and clean. This is a comfortable vintage driving environment - in addition to the seating being in very sharp condition, the contrasting black dash area features an array of clear, functional OEM gauges in its instrument cluster, with a table-level, uncracked dash pad running across the top, and the woodgrain accented center console positions its shifter within easy reach of the driver. With the LeMans substantially-sized cabin, your backseat passengers will have plenty of room to stretch out. The trunk area is proportionately spacious and features a full size spare inside. The 326 cubic inch V8 under the hood is likely the original powerplant. Its in fine form, starting up promptly and pulling eagerly. Still wearing its stock heads, the engine has been amped up with a 4-barrel Holley carb, an Edelbrock intake manifold and a pair of aftermarket headers as it pairs with a smooth-shifting 3-speed automatic TH350 transmission. The view inside the engine compartment is a pleasing one - the engine, along with its heads and valve covers, has been painted blue to match the exterior and its a great look. By the mid-60s, Pontiac was already equipping its muscle cars with coil springs in both front and back, so this LeMans has a quiet ride, without the binding around corners many cars of the era suffer from. Power brakes with discs up front provide fade resistant stopping power, while power steering makes this eye-catching classic an easy navigator that cruises on a set of 15 American Racing 5-spoke Torq Thrust wheels with polished lips wearing Goodyear Eagle G/T tires. This 1967 Pontiac LeMans Convertible comes along just in time for warmer weather and its timeless looks and solid running condition will make for an appealing ride for years and years to come.
