The reason why is very easy to explain: This is the upgraded S-model with two Weber 40 IDS triple downdraft carburetors and 160 hp, short wheelbase (SWB), originally delivered as a German specification to the Fleischhauer company in Cologne on November 28, 1967, and then handed over in mid-1968 to the first owner, whose name is known to us, in Bad Godesberg. It is finished in the sought-after "blutorange" paint and was expertly and faithfully restored in 2018. According to our research, only 442 examples of the 1968 Porsche 911 S Targa SWB were built for the European market.
