1976 Porsche 911 2. 7S80, 379 miles, India Red, Red Interior, Highly Original, LHDA remarkably original example of the 911 2. 7 S, finished in India Red with Russet Red interior and showing just 80, 378 miles from new.Originally supplied by Competition Porsche & Audi of New York in June 1976, with original sales invoice on file. The car was specified with Fuchs alloy wheels, non sunroof, leather steering wheel, Blaupunkt radio and Hirschmann electric aerial. The car remained in the USA with records for servicing on file until 2015, shortly before it arrived in Europe. In 2019 it was sold by a highly regarded Dutch specialist known for exceptionally original cars, at which point it was described as retaining its original paintwork. Paint depth readings remain consistent with this. The India Red paintwork retains just the gentle patina you would expect from a carefully preserved, unrestored car. Since arriving in the UK, servicing has been carried out by Porsche specialists JZM. More recently by the last owner with invoices from Porsche on file for service items from Porsche in Nov 2025. The front seats have also recently been completely restored by Porsche interior specialists Nine Series Classics.Overall a wonderfully original 2. 7S in a rare colour combination and fantastic overall condition. The engine runs well, everything is working as it should and the car still feels sharp and precise on the road. Supplied with its original owner’s handbook, warranty and service book in the correct wallet, spare key and pouch, tyre compressor, tool kit and even the original Hirschmann aerial key.Cars retaining this level of originality are becoming increasingly difficult to find.
