1986' Porsche 928 S2

Offered here is my beautiful Porsche 928….

This car must be one of the very best 928’s left in existence! Absolutely stunning, low mileage, original, unmodified car! Not only that but she is one of the most desirable specifications being a late S2 (larger brakes and adjustable suspension) yet retaining the original 928 looks.

Now, I know I’m going to regret this but she’s just not getting used anywhere near enough and I need the garage space hence it is with much regret that she has to go. I’ve owned the car for about five years, she is in completely standard condition with no modifications! Specification as follows:


Late 1985 S2,94,000 miles from new with all previous MOT’s and extensive documentation. Full set (9 A4 folders!) of genuine Porsche workshop manuals.

MOT until June 2017
Finished in Grand Prix White with full dark blue leather interior.

Fully documented genuine mileage of just 94k with all previous MOT’s and service stamps. All original handbooks present in original Porsche wallet, together with the original sales brochure and leather key pouch; 2 sets of keys. A4 ring binder with receipts for all expenditure. In absolutely incredible condition! Paint and body are truly superb, as is the interior, in what I consider to be one of the best colour combinations.


Everything works!!! Including air conditioning, windows, mirrors, roof etc…

Exterior:

In absolutely stunning condition! Looks like a new car! Underside is all really clean. Lives in a garage under a tailored car cover (included) and never goes out in the wet!

Wheels and Tyres:

Original forged alloys, polished to a mirror finish. New rear tyres, excellent fronts; all Goodyears. Original, collapsible spare unused; compressor, jack and gloves all present. Original Porsche locking wheel nuts with 2 x keys.

Interior:

Very expensive extended leather option; entire interior is leather covered (i.e. dash, head-liner, door trims, everything!) in dark blue and all is in excellent condition; all seat electrics work perfectly. Original dark blue carpets in excellent order, dark blue tailored over-mats. Original cargo net present in bootspace, all tools, warning triangle, all present in tool-tray.

Mechanics:

Regularly serviced by myself. Cambelt and water pump changed less than 10k miles ago in July 2012 (by Paul Anderson of 928 Spares). Engine is fantastic! Excellent oil pressure, pulls superbly. S4 type brakes/suspension. Fantastically capable car; last year I completed a 2000 mile European tour without incident. Flex plate tension checked in 2014 (928 Spares)

My 928 is a very special car and is insured on an agreed value basis, on my insurance, I am the only person permitted to drive her, I am more than willing to take prospective purchasers out for a drive (weather permitting!) but unless you arrange similar insurance cover, I’m afraid you will not be allowed to drive her.
