The Rambler Classic 770 2 door pillar-less hard top is a rare car and a popular choice for collectors. Throughout its life, the Classic was the high-volume seller for AMC and the 770 was the top of the line trim level for the Classic range. Built in right hand drive in America before final assembly in Australia at AMI in Port Melbourne. This example is a nice tidy survivor in generally good condition with straight panels and very limited rust issues. Originally a pale metallic blue it’s been repainted and although not perfect it presents well. The chrome trim is original straight and complete. The interior is complete but there are tears in the seats so will need to be re trimmed. Under the bonnet is clean and tidy with the 4.7 litre V8 in excellent condition. Mechanically the car runs and drives well. Few and far between this car will make for a sound investment. *Test Drive and Viewing by Appointment Only
