1962' Volkswagen Beetle

Beautiful 1962 VW Beetle 1500 Deluxe Sedan

This vehicle has just been imported from South Africa where it had a full “Body Off” restoration approximately 2 years ago.

The car is now UK registered with V5 in my name.

It is both MOT and Tax Exempt.

The official Volkswagen Data Sheet and Birth Certificate are also included.

• Bare metal re-spray - rust free vehicle, taken down to bare metal and resprayed in period correct single stage Zenith Blue.
• Floorpan repaired (rust under battery tray which is a common issue) and rust proofing applied inside and outside the pan.
• Mechanically, checked and replaced worn suspension components, re-furbished entire braking system, serviced transmission, checked and sorted entire wiring loom, replaced all bulbs and lights.
• Reconditioned the 1500 engine (line bore, new rings & bearings, ground valves)
• Fitted a complete brand new cream interior. Carpets, seats, door cards and roof lining, brand new sun visors.
• Refurbished the steering wheel, gear & handbrake levers.
• Replaced all brightwork with brand new (Bumpers, Door Beadings, Side Beadings, Running Board Beadings, Exhaust Tail Pipes, Headlight Trims)
• Replaced all the rubber seals and window channelling with brand new, including brand new running boards
• Refurbished the original steel wheels & repainted, sourced a set of period correct radial tyres, fitted brand new Wolfsburg chrome hubcaps.
• Fitted a Pioneer Bluetooth Mp3 Media Unit, with two 6” Speakers in the rear.
• A new battery has also been fitted.
