The Little Car Company celebrates three-year anniversary
Bicester-based purveyor of shrunken classics The Little Car Company is still going strong after three years in business

Designed to help owners ‘share the love of driving across generations’, The Little Car Company is a manufacturer of ‘junior cars’ – scaled-down versions of iconic classics powered by electric drivetrains and intended to be enjoyed by children and adults alike.

Based at Bicester Heritage, the company made its first customer delivery in 2021 and has gone on to shift some 400 units in the years since, with customers in the US, Switzerland, the Middle East and Thailand among many others.

The Little Car Company’s first model was the Bugatti Baby II, a 75% scale fully electric version of the Type 35, produced to celebrate Bugatti’s 110th anniversary. The 66% scale DB5 Vantage Junior followed, joined later by the Ferrari Testa Rossa J and the Tamiya Wild One MAX – a scaled-up take on an iconic radio-controlled car. The latter has not yet entered production but will soon be joined by the road-legal 85% scale Bentley Blower Jnr in the range.

“Each vehicle produced at Bicester is the result of hours of meticulous design and craftsmanship from our team of experts, and the result of the past three years is a true testament to their skill, talent and commitment,” said Ben Hedley, founder and CEO.

Delivering over 400 vehicles to clients in almost every continent on the planet is something we’re extremely proud of, and it also delights us to see how each model is cherished and appreciated by our clients around the world.”
