1952' Aston Martin DB2

Our car, chassis LML/ 50/ 397, is one of the 102 (or 98) Drophead Coupes produced between 1950 and 1953. Built in 1952 and delivered new by the Brooklands dealership in Bond Street, London, it is equipped with a Vantage engine (optional at that time). After spending many years in France, it was discovered in a pitiful state by its former owner in 1975, when he acquired the car. He started a complete restoration, without counting the cost, in 1998. The work was completed in 2005 after 150. 000 € invested in the brakes, chassis, upholstery, mechanics and gearbox. It was finished in dark blue, red interior and cream top, it is now in a competitive state. Its owner acquired it in 2011 at an auction. It has been very carefully maintained since then. It has only been driven 11, 000 miles since the engine rebuild.
