PROFESSIONALLY MAINTAINED BY SEAN DYNES AUTOMOTIVE SPECIALISTS WHO ALSO SPECIALISE IN NASCAR, DRAG & STREET RACERS See the photos as testament to the quality and professional way in which this car has been built. We believe the car produces in excess of 600 bhp. Unfortunately we have been unable to confirm this as the car is not able to fit onto most rolling roads...
A brief summary of the car will tell you that it is completely rust free. Chris Alston of "Chassisworks" took care of the racing chassis and the adjustable suspension which includes adjustable coil-overs shock absorbers by "VariShock" for racing, Brakes and callipers are by "Wilwood" The fuelling is taken care of by "JEGS" automotive. To cope with the huge BHP being developed a specialised racing transmission by "TCI Automotive" was used. Gear change is through a "B&M" Quick Shift unit. The B&M Quicksilver features a ratcheting action for positive shifts, Chrome Knob, neutral safety switch and is NHRA/IHRA approved. "DTS" the drive train specialists fabricated a special drive shaft that was needed to deal with the torque that the Merlin engine produces for the rear wheels. Inside the car is a professional roll-cage and racing seats by "Ultra-Shield" race products. RCI "Racers Choice Inc." supplied all the safety harness for the driver and passenger as well as other auxiliary safety products to complete this car. Powering the Camaro is a 7.7 litre Merlin V8 and cylinder heads. We have been informed it cranks out an incredible 618hp and 603 lb./ft. of torque to the rear wheels. The engine features an "Edelbrock Torker 2-0" intake manifold with a "Holley" carburettor. The engine ignition is boosted with an "MSD" distributor and ignition cables. When you have an incredible engine like the Merlin block stuffed into a street car you immediately have to be concerned with cooling, but in front of the engine the Camaro has been equipped with an immense custom radiator by " Be-Cool" with two large electric fans to ensure no stoplight gets the best of the car. This car is well sorted with thousands spent far in excess of its asking price. To the lucky owner it will give years of driving pleasure and smiles from ear to ear for years to come!
