This 1977 Chevrolet C10 Scottsdale is for those who love old-school trucks. The color, style, and features are all about an honest pickup fantasy. And that also means the numbers-matching V8 is still running sting under the hood. The factory-correct Buckskin Tan is the kind of color that represents the 1970s perfectly. And because it was resprayed later in life, theres still a good luster that shows off the creased panels of these classic Chevys. While a truck like this wouldnt be right with a ton of flair, they did get the brightwork shining in the right places. The chrome front bumper looks newer, the bedrails are bright, and theres a nice new set of Ion Alloy 15-inch wheels. But while there have been investments in improvements, nothing really takes away from the classic pickup feel. They even made sure it can get the chores done by leaving the rear step bumper and inner bed in a work-ready condition. More of that classic and correct kind of cool is seen inside. The wood-like trim is a true 1970s premium piece, and the rubber floor mat reminds you that old-school pickups get to work. And features like the cloth upholstery and tilt steering column make it easy to get comfortable. But there are also well-integrated upgrades that make this a nice place to spend some time, including newer door weather-stripping, newer window gaskets, and a retro-style AM/FM digital tuner w/aux input. Under the hood is the numbers-matching V8with a four-barrel carburetor on top. Its honest presentation really fits in with this classic trucks overall style. But originality doesnt mean missing out on care. In fact, the sale even comes with a handwritten maintenance log from a previous owner. Also, this truck was driven to our Atlanta area showroom from Alabama, which reaffirms its strong-running nature. Plus, the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, front discs, and brand-new tires all make for a solid driving package.
