1975 C-3 CORVETTE ROADSTER
WITH BOTH HARD AND SOFT TOPS
ARCTIC WHITE WITH OXBLOOD LEATHER INTERIOR
The C-3 Corvette with the most popular design lasting 15 years,1968-1983.
I am the second owner. I had the car since 1984. It has never seen snow on my watch. More than well maintained. Driven only during the summer. Stored inside and off the ground every winter.
I bought the car when it was 9 years old with 51K miles on it. I have driven it an additional 72K miles over the next 35 years, an average of 2,050 miles per year.
In general, all mechanical work has been done professionally and all major components have been rebuilt, not just replaced. All numbers still match. It has the deluxe interior which means the seats are leather not vinyl, and upgraded door panels.
Specifically, the engine (350ci) has been rebuilt from the block up, along with a complete front end, and front and rear suspension. All of which occurred 16,000 miles ago. The transmission was rebuilt 8,700 miles ago Other repairs include: 2 rear tires – 3,600 miles ago; new heater core and radiator – 3,000 miles ago; and 2 front tires 1,700 miles ago.
Both front and rear bumpers have been replaced with new and painted along with the hard top which has been resprayed. The soft top has been replaced with a new one only 350 miles ago. Tires are mounted on ’76 Corvette Mag wheels.
The latest repairs occurred last month when brake maintenance was done to include a master cylinder and recirculating valve replacement. All the wiring was replaced along with all lights inside and out. These repairs totaled approximately $5,000.
The sound system needs to be replaced. No need for 44 year old technology. Next owner should choose level of audio player and speakers. Hardtop hoist, hardtop flannel storage cover, and full size custom car cover also available. Repair/replacement receipts available upon request.
Also, 4 American Racing chrome wire wheels with a GM lug pattern are for sale. They fit this car perfectly.
Unfortunately, we are moving out of state and we are already taking 2 cars with us. So the car should be sold before the move regardless of my latest investment cost.
There still is plenty of summer left for crusin’ This car is a head turner and a lot of fun to drive.
