This is one of just seven documented right-hand drive 124 Spiders supplied by Fiat/ Pininfarina Dealer Dennis J Hands of Basingstoke it was ordered new by a Mr Grundy of Surrey and first registered on 15th August 1985 and given the registration number B 707 KJM which it still wears today.Mr Grundy did not keep the car long and on 1st November 1985 with just 767 miles covered, she was bought by the oldest FIAT dealer in Sussex – PDH Garages Ltd of Hassocks. The car was destined for their private collection and retained in that collection for 35 years. Regularly displayed in their showrooms, she only travelled out for its annual MOT test.With just 1, 183 miles on the clock, a change of management of PDH Garages Ltd saw the car change hands to a Sussex based Italian car enthusiast who continued the preservation of this very special car.The current owner was the long-time owner of one of the most famous Feltham Astons and purchased the Fiat through a Sussex based classic car dealer in November 2022, since which a total of £7, 000 invoiced, has been spent in recommissioning the car which has been cherished and enjoyed by the owner and his wife.
