Mustang Convertibles have always been highly desirable, being just a few dollars more than the Coupe when new but having been ordered in much fewer numbers now make them extremely sought after.
This wonderful V8 powered Convertible Muscle Car was last owned by Edilsa and Michael Ruiz who lived way out on a small ranch some 20 miles southwest of Tucson in Arizona. They were so proud of their Classic Mustang and cherished their Convertible having purchased the car in Colorado from a Mustang collector.
Michael had a purpose-built air-conditioned garage built for the Mustang which showed how much he loved the car as their own home only featured old fashioned Swamp Coolers to thwart the Arizona Desert heat! This made me wonder why they were selling?
Edilsa explained they wanted to buy a Condominium at Rocky Point in Mexico and that Michael had “Had his fun” with the Mustang and that it was now her turn!!
So we were lucky to find the car and delighted to secure the purchase.
The history file contains the original build sheet and the details of all owners and works carried out are carefully set out along with a Marti Report.
Michael had explained that the Mustang featured in a movie called “ a Remarkable Life “ made in 2016 and sure enough the DVD he gave me shows the Classic Mustang Convertible in many scenes.
The weather was perfect at the time with the Sonoran Desert in full Spring Bloom and the drive back to Phoenix was a real pleasure with the desert floor covered in vibrant yellow flowers matching the stunning Mustang.
Now back in the U.K. with all import duties paid and road registered for use in the hands of the fortunate new owner. Will that be you?
