Hot Rod Ford Roadster 31/32 This is an original late 1931 Henry Ford Steel Model A Roadster Hot Rod, In good working order, you can take a cruise anywhere without overheating. This car is an original Hot Rod of the traditional ones (like the kids built when they came back from WWII).
The style of this car is the result of many well chosen components. It comes off with an early 50’s Period look thanks to the narrow steel wheels and smattering of Ford parts. A shorter windshield might look better today, but back then this roadster would have been one of the coolest on your block.
The engine is a 1952 flatty with sweet Fenton headers and a single carb, 111 CV / 82 kW Teardrop lights, conservative pipes and a Ford 9” rear end make for a simple and cost effective package out back. Inside the worn bench seat shows that the car is a driver, and vintage gaugers look the part. The C4 automatic might not be our first choice, but for a period cruiser it is not a bad unit.

Body :
The firewall is in great shape. The doors are tailored like a typical door pattern and must be Reshimmed. It has a luxury 13 ”with a new glass windshield. It is original 1939 Ford taillights with glass lenses. The trunk hinges are off of a 1936 Cadillac. BLC headlights bent and cut with a model headlight bar. The shell is a fiberglass radiator From the grille is a 1932 Ford chrome plated one-off Custom Made.
INSIDE :
The dash is from a 1936 Ford Cabriolet, with no window crank hole (rarer). The odometer is fine, but it is not connected. The accelerator pedal is from a 1934 Ford and the brake is from a 1939 Ford. It has a 1940 Ford steering column and wheel by Limeworks. People 23 ”Swan gear stick.
ENGINE AND CHASSIS:
Has a 1957 Ford 9 ”rear with rear seatback chrome plates and acquisitions coil. The engine is a rebuilt 1952 Ford 8BA Flathead with 2000 miles. Fenton headers have the original that have been powder coated. Has a 1968 Ford Mustang C4 transmission with C4 kit to suit flatty. Has bones 1939 Ford, Super Bell 4 ". Features triangle ladder bar at rear and Viper 3 hair clips on the forehead. Has Vega box with cross steering ls, 1946 Ford Juice (hydraulic), dual master cylinder dual master cylinder brakes. It has a 12 volt generator, 1980 Started Mustang, optimal battery and internal resistance within the coil. Have a Original 1932 Ford radiator that was rebuilt with 5 cylinders and a trans cooler.

WHEELS / TIRES:
Original US WW11 Stock Black 1940 Ford Rims on 16 ”Front Whitewalls and 750 White walls in the back. The rear ones are Lester and the fronts are Sport Offers. Original 1940 Ford hubcap.
