Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to offer this elegant 1957 Ford Thunderbird in our Scottsdale, AZ showroom. This classic "Baby" 'bird has been fully restored, sparing no expense these past four years since purchasing the car from its original owner.

This classic beauty was purchased in Southern California in July of 1957, when the original lady owner drove it to Scottsdale for her re-location. It was then driven until 1972 when it was parked in her garage until the current owner purchased it in 2013.

The car underwent its metamophosis from garage find to drop-dead gorgeous by utilizing all of the best shops in the Phoenix area. In the process, safety and convenience features were added to this fabulous Thunderbird like air conditioning, front disc brakes with dual reservoir cylinder, an aluminum radiator, seat belts, Kelsey-Hayes replica wire wheels, and wide white radial tires. All of the car's various systems work well, but the Town & Country AM radio and the original clock do not work.

The porthole hardtop is the only top the car has at this time, but the new owner could certainly add a soft top later. This beautiful first-generation Thunderbird looks, drives, and performs like a new car, because it essentially is. No detail of the restoration was overlooked. The current owner has had over $85,000 invested because he wanted a beautiful example of this American classic. As you can see, he has accomplished that goal. Here's your chance to buy an iconic classic 'bird at a fraction of the restoration cost. It won't last long!
