Comentarios del vendedor sobre 1927' Humber 14/40 Six Light Saloon

RH Classics is delighted to present this lovely 1927 Humber 14/40hp Six-Light Saloon

A delightfully original matching numbers vintage saloon in very long-term ownership. Very well known in Humber Club circles over many years.

First registered on 01 July 1926 and retaining its original registration number. Comprehensive history file including service logs, bills for over 40 years and wonderful Humber Club correspondence dating back over 50 years.

A very well maintained Motor Car, presented for sale in lovely, gently patinated condition; absolutely ready to use, having been fully recommissioned prior to sale.

Original 1927 RF60 registration document and accompanying continuation buff log book, detailing a complete ownership trail through the years since this Motor Car was new.

Launched on 1st October 1926 for the 1927 model year, the 14/40hp was a medium sized quality saloon, featuring a 2050cc inlet over exhaust 4-cylinder engine, which was essentially a scaled down version of the larger 6-cylinder 3075cc 20/55 model.

Just 2,240 examples of this model were produced by the Humber Road factory between 1926 and 1929, with the number of surviving, road worthy examples now sadly in single figures.

With a bore of 75mm and stroke of 116mm, the engine delivered good torque, being a traditional long-stroke motor with a top speed of 60 mph.
