Her next adventure was to be returned to the UK in 1994 where she was restored, converted back to RHD and trimmed in cream hide with red paintwork and a black hood - happily as a USA delivered E Type, she came with Sundym glass, setting off her beautiful lines perfectly
It is clear that she hasn't seen much use over the years - the mileage is showing 11.500 since restoration (we assume) and the earliest MoT in the file is from 2006 at 2.450
She is does drive very well indeed, with strong brakes, well damped suspension and robust acceleration with a deep growl from the exhaust - all you could wish for with any E Type
There is a report this year from a respective garage confirming her mechanical integrity and whilst the interior is mint, as is the engine bay, it is true to say that the paintwork now shows signs of age
