This is a stunning Jaguar MKII 3. 4 Automatic that we have known for almost fifteen years. 6 MPX has been with its most recent owner since 2013 and over this time has almost 1500 miles having short, occasional use over summer months. The MKII now records a mileage of 61500, very much believed to be genuine with history dating back to the 1980’s, and a remarkably honest original leather trim. Whilst the car has covered super low mileage over the past thirteen years, prior to this the MKII covered 10, 000 miles in five years with other customers of ours. 6 MPX successfully toured down to Le Mans, attended Goodwood Revival and is a proven, reliable, long distance touring car.6 MPX is finished in the stunning Opalescent Silver Blue with stunning, highly original Dark Blue leather trim. The Jaguar had some major restoration back in the 1980's and in 2013 was treated to a full re-paint at Malton Coachworks. Since knowing the car over £10, 000 has been spent on maintenance and repairs to include a gearbox rebuild, the car also boasts a stainless steel exhaust system, electronic ignition, Harvey Bailey handling kit front and rear and Zeus brakes. The Jaguar also comes with a full tool kit with SSP spanner set, Henly's type cubby box and Radiomobile 1070 with FM stereo and Ipod unit.Many years on from a re-paint and the car presents very well with a lovely deep finish. The chrome work is very smart, the Dark Blue wires suit the car well and the interior has delightfully aged. The car is an absolute delight to drive and is in excellent mechanical order, driving faultlessly over to us from the East Riding of Yorkshire. The engine performs perfectly and is a strong, powerful 3. 4 unit holding very good oil pressure. The automatic gearbox changes up and down smoothly and the handling and braking are excellent.This is a car we know very well, we are delighted after all of these years to have it back with us and find a new home for what is a superb, reliable car that will prove ideal for shows, rallies, long distance touring or careful occasional use.
