Comentarios del vendedor sobre 1960' Jaguar Mk2

One owner for the last 23 years. Full restoration by current owner. Drives superbly.

Engine: Originally a 2.4, the engine was replaced by a 3.8 approximately 30 years ago. Badging and speedometer were changed to match. The 3.8 was rebuilt by VSE towards the end of the restoration.

Body: Good condition. British Racing Green paint. All exterior trim re-chromed or replaced but some recent slight blemishing on front bumper. New overriders front and rear.

Transmission: Jaguar gearbox, new clutch went in with the rebuilt engine.

Brakes and suspension: S-type (3-pot caliper) front brakes. All brakes reconditioned and new springs and shocks all round during restoration.

Interior: Rare Reutters reclining front seats. Driver's seat mount modification (reversible) to permit a taller driver (an extra 2 inches of legroom). Good carpets and overmats. Front and rear seats retrimmed in Suede Green leather. New wool headlining. All wood trim was repaired where necessary, re-stained and re-lacquered.

Wheels: Dayton wire wheels - chrome rims and stainless steel spokes.

Improvements: Stainless steel exhaust, electronic ignition, high-efficiency starter, electronic fuel pump, manually-operated electric auxiliary fan, uprated Clayton heater.

Extras: Complete restored toolbox and two original sales brochures (car and reclining seat option) included.

The registration number is not included in the sale. Return to the UK register is straightforward and I would be prepared to take the car to Liverpool or Heysham ports following sale.

The Isle of Man is accessible by air from the UK or Ireland (40-70 minutes, depending on start point - Easyjet or Loganair)or by sea from Liverpool or Heysham (2.5-3.5 hours, depending on port and type of ferry - IOM Steam Packet) and I would endeavour to meet any serious viewer on arrival to take them straight to the car to view and test drive. For the successful purchaser the cost of the fare to the Isle of Man to view the car would be reflected in the final purchase price.

Garage space occupied by this car is required for another project. More pictures available on request.
