200 exemplars of the Type 300 Sc were built (53 Roadster, 48 Cabriolets, 99 Coupés).
Mercedes-Benz developed a new powerful engine for this type.
By the price of 38.500 DM in 1957 it cost about 9.000 DM more than a 300 SL Gullwing. Only a few wealthy people could afford such an exclusive vehicle. The 300 Sc Roadster is the last hand-made Mercedes-Benz ever.
The vehicle presented here is an extensively restored specimen in a most beautiful condition. According to the present Mercedes-Benz delivery note this 300 Sc Roadster was first delivered to Venezuela.
