We are very pleased to offer a wonderful example of the ever popular British Classic, the MGB GT. Finished in period Damask red with contrasting black cloth and enhanced with a sliding Webasto sunroof and Minilite wheels this MG has benefitted from lots of recent time and love lavished on it and is presented in a very solid condition with many extras ready to be used, shown and enjoyed. In 2016 it was restored using many new panels including: front wings, bonnet, door skins, outer sills and rear wings. It was then treated to a glass out respray and as you can see it looks fantastic.

The transformation continued with the running gear which has turned this MGB into a fantastic performer, full details are available but a breif overview will give you an idea: Brett Simms Motorsport fully balanced 1868cc engine overbored by 60 thou, reground crank, high performance oil pump, Piper 285 cam and vernier cam timing wheels, uprated push rods, rocker shafts and bushes. Fully ported and polished head, with new valves, seats, springs and and a gas flowed inlet manifold, lightened flywheel and electronic distributor. At the same time, the twin carbs were rebuilt, new clutch and oil cooler, Maniflow exhaust, many of the ancillaries were also replaced at the same time.

On the road this MG is a joy to drive. It has oodles of power and its very free revving, it can easily keep up with modern traffic and it has the extra power that standard versions crave. The overdrive gearbox is slick and precise and thanks to many new suspension components it handles very well, with a taught and pecise feel. Not to mention the great sound it has.

The interior is very well presented and has recently benefitted from re trimmed cloth seats, new door cards and carpets. It has its original Radiomobile radio, a wood rimmed steering wheel and matching gear knob. The other fantastic feature is the Webasto sunroof, this slides back and transforms the driving experience.

This MGB has a very solid shell with gleaming paintwork, the chrome is original and very presentable and the wheels really set this car off. MG's have a global following and driving this one, its easy to see why. They are fun to drive, have a huge club following and parts are readily available. They give owners access to the wonderful world of Classic car ownership and are very useable on a daily basis. This MG has a long MOT and is of course MOT and tax exempt, is fully serviced an tuned and ready to go.
