MG TA 1936. The history file that came with car shows a 5 to 7 year body off restoration prior to 2015 when the car came back into use in Holland where it had been since at least 1963. The body frame was repaired as required while retaining the under scuttle cross member with the original MG body number intact. The body is thought to be original along with the wings, doors and bonnet. The engine is the original MPJG unit and the number matches the chassis plate. Numerous new or recondition parts have been fitted including Dynamo, Starter, Water pump, Thermostat, Ammeter, Rear lights, Lever Arm Dampers, Wheel Spinners and Tonneau Cover. The car has been fitted with period bucket seats that give more leg room for taller drivers The car runs well and changes gear smoothly,it maintains good oil pressure and coolant temp. It still retains the Bronze bodied S U Carbs All 5 tyres are as new. Sadly my wife does not like riding in the car so it just sits in the garage and never gets used.
