1969 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow Mulliner Park Ward Two-Door Coupé (Pre-Corniche)CONSIDERABLE PRICE REDUCTION – A RARE AND ELEGANT EXAMPLE OF BRITISH MOTORING HISTORY!A lovely and increasingly rare example of this beautiful coachbuilt Rolls-Royce, presenting very well for her age and a genuine pleasure to drive, with smooth gear changes, responsive brakes and that unmistakable Rolls-Royce refinement.Showing just 21, 600 miles on the clock.Originally supplied by Robert B. Massey & Co. Ltd of Market Weighton and sold new to a Mr J. L. Spooner of Cottingham, Hull, on 17th June 1969.Coachbuilt by H. J. Mulliner Park Ward Ltd of Willesden, London, these early two-door Fixed Head Coupés are particularly special motor cars, with just 369 right-hand-drive examples produced between 1966 and 1971, compared with 16, 717 Silver Shadow four-door saloons.Being an early example, she retains the extremely rare early-style interior door handles, beautiful Chippendale dashboard, original non-flared wheel arches, non-vented 15-inch hubcaps, separate reversing lights and desirable chrome bumpers.Powered by the wonderfully smooth 6, 230cc V8, coupled to a three-speed automatic gearbox.Condition-wise, she presents beautifully. The Chippendale woodwork has been fully refurbished to an exceptionally high standard, complemented by deep red lambswool rugs in excellent condition and brand-new carpets throughout. The exterior is very well presented, although there is some light microblistering to the paintwork in places, worth mentioning in the interest of transparency. All chrome work is in excellent condition, with the Spirit of Ecstasy standing proudly between the wing-mounted flag holders. The only small detail requiring attention is the glovebox hinge and handle, unfortunately misplaced during the woodwork refurbishment. I'm currently sourcing replacements and hope to have these fitted prior to sale.A beautiful, elegant and wonderfully individual Rolls-Royce, offering a rare opportunity to own one of the early coachbuilt Silver Shadow Coupés.A lovely old girl, and a true pleasure to drive.PX Welcome // Card Payments Accepted // Delivery Options Available
