Comentarios del vendedor sobre 1960' Rover P4 100

Reluctantly offered for sale is my 1960 Rover 100 affectionately known as 'Patina-heap'. Still bearing it's original (& transferable) registration number WBE 876 (valued recently at £1200) the car is somewhat strange in that it has not suffered any serious corrosion & is in remarkably good structural condition but after many years of storage the paintwork has suffered greatly revealing patches of bare aluminium on the doors bonnet & boot & surface rust on all steel areas. My idea has been to restore the so that it doesn't look restored & thereby make it a car that can be used in all weathers & no worries about leaving it parked & people scratching or damaging it. Work completed thus far has been a complete brake overhaul (including a new Lockheed servo), a complete exhaust system including manifold & all new gaskets, mountings & stainless steel nuts & bolts throughout & a new clutch has been fitted one month ago. The underside has been thoroughly cleaned, painted where needed, undersealed & Waxoiled. The exterior has had a respray of sorts, it has been sprayed with two pack clear laquer with 20% matting agent in order to help prevent any further deterioration. There are many other smaller things that have been done & too numerous to mention on here. THE best things about this car is it's gorgeous original interior & the way that it drives, it was MOT'd recently (MOT expires on the 6th of October 2018) & the tester had a short drive in it... "It certainly drives a lot better than it looks!" It's engine pulls like a train with wonderful six cylinder noises, the gearbox is perfect & the brakes are superb & there is not a rattle or squeak to be heard. As it has been a 'work in progress' project the two most significant currently non operational items are the fuel gauge & the overdrive, neither of which is preventing use & I've been too busy enjoying it recently to tackle these two things. The car is at my home address in Dudley & can be viewed by prior appointment, my name is Nicholas & my number is 07702-590658.
