Our current stock list and full details are available on our website.We are very pleased to offer an absolute work of art, from an era when cars were beautiful. I can just stand and look at this 1963 Wolseley Hornet and admire it. Finished in Yukon Grey with an Old English roof and contrasting Powder blue leather interior. I have always been a fan of these rare Mini variants, the classy relative, they have all of the Classic Mini attributes but offer a more luxurious experience and certainly stand out from the crowd. This early example has been clearly cherished, it is a full matching numbers example with its original engine, body number and FE number. It is presented in a ready to show condition but also ready to use and drive. We have maintained this Hornet for the last few years regardless of cost with a host of new parts and servicing and we have also kept it up to date with yearly MOT tests.On the road the sixties driving experience is on offer. The Hornet performs very well, the original 998 engine holds strong oil pressure and the original "magic wand" gearbox is precise and easy to use. We have recently worked through all of the brakes and suspension and it also has four matching tyres, it handles and stops very well and keeps up with modern traffic which for a 64 year old is impressive. What you will get is a lot of attention as this Hornet attracts admirers wherever I have taken it.The interior is well presented. The Hornet was appointed to a much better level than the Mini from the same era. The original powder leather seats have some cracking and age but suit the car, it has its original roof liner, door cards and a recent Newton Commercial carpets. It has the all important three clock binnacle and original steering wheel, all of the switch gear is functioning. It does benefit from seat belts and a 12 volt socket for charging.The Hornet presents very well and belies its vintage. The Yukon grey is in good condition and virtually blemish free. The all important chrome work is in very good condition and the boot and engine bay are nicely detailed. The Wolseley grill badge also illuminates, areal touch of class. It has solid floors, vented sills and solid subframes. It has clearly been well loved and is ready to jump in and drive.We have fully serviced, checked, driven and tuned the Hornet and it also has a current MOT. The advisories have been completed.
