Commentaires du vendeur sur 1970' Alfa Romeo 1750
The 1750 GT is definitely among the most sought after of all the Bertone GT versions of Alfa little GT car of the 1960s. Especially the beautiful front and the interior with the exquisite dashboard and center console make the 1750 a very appealing car.
This 1970 year was bought by it latest owner I 2005 and he commenced a full restoration job that should take until 2017 when the GT finally got its license plates back on again. The body was taken to empty shell, blasted and had all the thin metal work with new body parts done. It was then metalized with zinc by a Danish specialist company Jyderup Sandblæseri. After proper sealing it received the correct black Alfa color.
The 2 liter engine was completely rebuilt with new parts and the gearbox rebuilt by gearbox specialist BOS in Denmark. A new wiring loom was fitted and the car assembled with all new suspension and brake parts. Hoses and rubber sealing in doors and windows are all new.
The upholstery including the rare 1750 series 1 "Zagato" seats is thick black leather and the car is fitted with a brand new set of period correct Cromodora alloy wheels and tires, and have finally received a 4 wheel alignment set up including camber, caster and toe-in toe-out settings.
This 1750 GT series 2 can only be described as immaculate and needless to say it drives superb.
