Here is a 1928 Alfa Romeo Tipo 6C 1500, dismantled in the 1950s by an Englishman living in New York. The major components kept, including front and rear axles, cross-members, steering box and column, gearbox, and engine. The crankcase offered is not original to the car, but has come from the same source and the engine has at one time been converted to twin camshafts. The original chassis plate and a collection of other parts relating to the car are also present, including rods, gear lever, c.w.p, propshaft etc., but the chassis itself was not kept, and is known not to have survived.
Chassis No. 0111578 represents a rare opportunity to rebuild an Alfa Romeo, with original parts, which have been stored for many years and in long term ownership .
