Commentaires du vendeur sur 1938' Austin Austin 7 Big Seven

A little piece of history, here is my time warp maroon over black Austin Big Seven, the very last Austin 7 model, slightly bigger than a Ruby with Easy Clean wheels, quite rare. It has spent most or all of it's life in the dry, having been laid up from new until 1952 due to the outbreak of war, then taken off the road and stored in an industrial greenhouse between 1964 and 1972. This is a very original car with the deluxe package, which included a metal sliding sunroof and a rear window blind operated by a slider over the driver's door, all working. Note it still has the running boards, which you don't normally see as they rot away. Driver's original leather seat squab included. All correctly matched numbers, original registration number. 41,000 miles from new, some early service history, this is unusual as it was normal to do your own servicing and repairs in those days. Starts on the button, runs and stops ok, is in fair mechanical order throughout. I have owned this car for about 15 years and it has been stored in a well ventilated garage and put in a Permabag over winter to avoid damp and vermin. It wears the patina associated with being almost 80 years old. New battery, s/s exhaust, everything works as it should, still on 6v electrics. Tax and MOT exempt, a low cost classic to enjoy. Sensible offers will be considered. Chelmsford, Essex.
