Commentaires du vendeur sur 1958' Austin-Healey 100-6
This is a 1958 early 100-6. Originally exported when new to Australia where it spent its life until 2.5 years ago when I imported it. It has always been RHD. I have a Heritage Certificate for it. The engine has the later 12 port head and twin 13/4" SUs. A mild road cam has been fitted. The present capacity is 2912cc having been bored out to take the more readily available pistons from later models. The gearbox is the original side-shift 4 speed with the usual overdrive operating on 3rd and 4th gears. The engine starts on the button and runs sweetly, and the gearbox is good and overdrive engages and disengages smoothly. The car has been very well maintained with records going back to 1976. Since 2002 'The Healey Factory' in Victoria actively maintained the car for the same owner until he traded it in in 2016. I purchased the car from The Healey Factory. The hot climate has preserved the car well and there is no rust. The original colour of the car was Florida green and this was changed to a damson colour at some time. The hot dry climate did the paintwork no favours and I had the car re-sprayed in Healey blue over Ivory. The photos make the paintwork look dull but its actually quite shiny (polarized camera lens?) There is a tonneau cover, soft top and sidescreens. None is cosmetically great but its all there. The car drives really well and you will not be disappointed
