Originally assembled on January 6, 1966, this real Red/Black 1966 Corvette 427/425hp is in nice condition, is documented with its ORIGINAL PROTECT-O-PLATE, and features real factory side exhaust! This cars paint is good-vg, with a great shine. Chrome bumpers show a good-vg condition finish. Taillights are in good condition, and exterior door handles show a vg finish. Correct style original hubcaps are in place, with good condition steel wheels. Vintage Thorobred Steel radial tires feature added goldlines, and show an average of 6/32nds tread depth remaining in the front, and an average of 7/32nds remaining in the rear. The interior of this 1966 Corvette 427/425hp shows good condition leather seats and center console, good-vg GM seatbelts, vg dash pods, glovebox lid, and gauges (other than the clock, which is working at the time of this write-up with a correct non-quartz movement), and vg-exc door panels, carpet, and teakwood steering wheel. Correct appearing AM/FM radio is in place. The numbers matching L72 engine in this car shows final assembly date December 13, 1965. Correct air cleaner lid, intake manifold, ignition shielding, valve covers, and spark plug wires are all in place, and the frame is solid. This car has been fully serviced, and all instrument gauges, lights, turn signals, brakes, engine, transmission and rear-end are all in good operating condition. Included with this car will be the original protect-o-plate, reproduction owners manual and radio booklet, and a receipt showing that the cylinder heads were rebuilt in 2016.
