1971' Chrysler 300

For sale is my beloved Chrysler, fitted with a 440 ci big block and 3 speed 727 Torqueflite auto, provides plenty of power when requested and surprisingly good on fuel if driven sensibly. Car was imported into the UK in the late 90's, covering roughly 2500 miles in sixteen years before i purchased it. I've now had it two years clocking up 13000 miles in that time, mileage in now just over 91000. In the time I've owned the car many new parts have been fitted and its been serviced regularly. Its rock solid structurally and mechanically faultless, being used almost daily during the summer. Real head turner, not one for someone who's shy, always attracts attention and be prepared to engage in conversation. Being a full size C body, its big, over 6.5 feet wide and 18.5 feet long, so be sure to have a large garage. Absolute joy to drive, so easy and effortless, with strong brakes and unexpectedly good road holding and manners thanks to the torsion bar front suspension.

GOOD POINTS: New brakes all round, discs and pads front, drums, shoes and cylinders rear, new stainless steel braided brake hoses. New Holley 670 cfm street avenger carb. Electronic ignition fitted. Power steering box/pump refurbished. New front wheel bearings. Full stainless steel exhaust from the manifold back. Recent coolant and brake fluid change. New front tires. Modern radio neatly fitted under the dash. All this has been done in the last 13 months.

Negatives: Headlining needs replacing, ready to fit kit can be bought off ebay from the states. Paint job wasn't the best and up close is noticeable around the window frames. Front and rear bumpers could do with re-chroming as pitted. A little bit of bubbling above one of the rear arches, size of a 5p coin.

Overall a rock solid, reliable car ready to drive, either as a daily driver or just for weekends and shows. Will be missed but house move forces sale.
