Chrysler had always represented the American concept of the luxury car with their modern and technical advancements and refined luxury. The Series 51 in its Deluxe version was a range topper powered by a inline six. The car was equipped with the Prestomatic Fluid Drive transmission.
The example we present is special since it has a chauffeur partition and was sold new in France. It was registered in September 1951, necessarily by a prominent personality or wealthy organization. The car changed hands in Mai 1968 before joining the Trigano collection in 1973, having belonged to a student in Berzons since 1971. The bodywork is in sound and original condition and was repainted a long time ago explaining the cars beautiful patina. The front of the interior is in pretty original condition, and the dashboard features a radio. The luxurious rear part with its folding seats and electric partition has been re-upholstered in fabric and velvet. The mechanicals are obviously complete but will have to be refurbished. This beautiful and well preserved car, extremely rare in Europe, deserves the care and interest of a collector.


We inform buyers that all the vehicles in the collection have been little used during the last years as they are part of a museum collection. They are sold as presented and therefore require recommissioning before being driven on the public roads.
