The 308. The quintessential Ferrari shape of the late 70’s and early 80’s, instantly recognized in any corner of the world.
The example we present you is a low mileage Matching Numbers US 308 GTS QV. First registered in October 1984, it has lived a good life, with only 31500 miles. It was brought into the UK, where it was converted to Euro Spec with the correct bumpers, new side markers and the less restrictive exhaust.
The body presents itself beautifully in its factory form. Absolutely zero rust with mostly all original paintwork, save for the front spoiler and engine grilles which have been treated by the current owner. The original Rosso Corsa sports an amazing shine and depth, contrasting perfectly with all the immaculate black trim and badging.
Step inside and you will find the exquisite beige leather very well preserved, as are all the controls and the delicious MOMO steering wheel. Originality and period-correctness goes one step further with the Pioneer KE-4000 stereo unit.
Mechanically, this is perfect. Accelerates, brakes and drives as it should. Very well maintained throughout its life and with timing and accessory belts changed in March 2016, it’s a turn-key example.
Correct Cromodora Magnesium wheels are perfect, and wrapped in new Goodyear tyres.
