1983' Ford Capri 1.6 Cabaret

I've decided to sell my unrestored, never welded time warp Ford 1.6 Cabaret manual.

I bought the car over a year ago from the second owner, an elderly gentleman who had owned the car since 1990. The car has covered just under 48,000 miles and I have every MoT going back to 1990 to corroborate that the mileage is genuine.

The bonnet has been painted and there's a minor repair to the driver's door top hinge area but other than that it's had no paintwork whatsoever. The wheel arches, sills and suspension turret tops are untouched and perfect with no corrosion whatsoever. Underneath is perfect with no corrosion or repair work evident.

The exterior has a few dings and scrapes - the elderly gent kept the car in a small garage and over the years scraped the car here and there getting it in and out but it's original so I decided to leave it that way.

The interior is in near mint condition except the rear parcel shelf which is lifted by string rather than the correct cords.

The car drives perfectly with no known faults and Is MoT'd with no advisories. The water pump recently started to weep so has been replaced.

The car comes with its original wallet and documentation along with a few maintenance items plus a little red hand written exercise book dating back from 1990 to when I bought the car. This lists everything done to the car whilst in the previous owners possession - a priceless piece of old school history !

This is a car for the true Ford enthusiast - it's a rare model in amazing condition which can be used, enjoyed and displayed as is or easily renovated to be a concours winning example.
