Commentaires du vendeur sur 1970' Ford Capri

I am reluctantly selling this car I have owned since 2005 after discovering it stored away in a dry barn whilst purchasing another vehicle.
I recognized the car right away to be 'HOCUS POCUS', a car i remembered very well from my youth having always had an avid interest in famous classic fords.

The car raced in the early 70's on Santa pod and was well known on the circuit and around the race scene along with its owner and creator Pip Higham.
The car was hand built by Pip himself to a very high standard which showed off his fantastic engineering skills, Pip was well known for his love of cars and bikes and the projects he developed and raced. Please see link below.
- details above
The car is so original to its built that it still has the original stickers on the underside of the bonnet that Pip added one Sunday morning.
When i purchased the car i managed to get in touch with Pip who believe it or not was only living 30 miles down the road from myself and he made the trip across to view the car which he had imagined had disappeared many years ago. He confirmed to me it was the car he built and couldn't believe it had survived in such good condition.

The body and chassis had survived so well due to it being zinc coated when built by Pip.

The car was featured in custom car magazine in July 1973 with a full interview with Pip explaining all the work he has carried out on the car. I have an original copy of this magazine which will be included in the sale.

The car is so heavily customized and modified that it is easier for you to read the article and let Pip explain to you all the custom work he carried out on this truly special vehicle.
I have scanned them into the photographs for you to read.

As the car sits today it will require a full restoration to get it back to its former glory. The car has dry stored ever since, along with a number of my other vehicles. Car will need to be towed away on trailer.
Although as i have said earlier this is not a rot box, It is very solid, please see all the pictures.

V5C present in my name from 2005, showing 6 former keepers.

If you are seriously interested i can send you more photographs or you can come and view, serious viewings only. Serious sensible offers invited, Located in Lancashire
