Commentaires du vendeur sur 1976' Honda Civic
Hi and welcome to the sale of this very rare 1.5 1976 Honda Civic, THIS IS WITHOUT DOUBT ONE OF THE RAREST OF ALL MK1 1ST GENERATION HONDA CIVICS THIS WAS THE RANGE TOPPING CIVIC 1500 4 DOOR !! VERY FEW 1500's REMAIN IN EXISTENCE WITH A LITTLE WORK THIS HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BE THE BEST MK 1 CIVIC 1500 LEFT IN THE UK THE 1500 IS A 4 DOOR SALOON WITH A BOOT AND HAS A LONGER WHEELBASE COMPARED TO THE 1200 ( NOT THE USUAL MORE COMMONPLACE 3 DOOR 1200 HATCH BACK) THE 1500 MODEL IS DISTINGUISHED BY A LONGER FRONT END THAN THE LESSER 1200 MODEL AND IS FITTED WITH A REVISED BONNET , LONGER FRONT WINGS, A DIFFERENT STYLE FRONT GRILL AND SINGLE PIECE GRILL MOUNTED INDICATORS AND THE REAR IS DISTINGUISHED BY A TWIN CHROME HINGED BOOT LID AS APOSE TO A HATCH ( SIMILAR TO THE ORIGINAL CIVIC 1200 2 DOOR ) ONLY SOLD IN THE UK FROM 1975-1977 NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH THE LATER 5 DOOR 1200 CC MODEL !!!This car has incredible history with having only one former keeper who had the car on the road from 1976 up to 2006, when due to age she had to hang up her driving gloves, the car was then taken off the road and sorned for the last 13 years. The original bill of sale from Crown Honda Dealers, Bushey Heath is still present and shows the added extras paid for from new, they included mud flaps, full vinyl roof with sun roof. Every MOT certificate is present and all the sorn notices, there are also all the servicing bills , service booklet and brochure, 3 sets of keys and even an original magnetic emergency key box which was hidden under the car. The car has undergone recommissioning, with new timing belt, refurbished master cylinder, refurbished radiator, new thermastat, new battery, refurbished exhaust, servicing carried out to the brakes and all fluids replaced. The inside is like new with only light cleaning required, the door cards are still covered in the original plastic covering, the vinyl roof and sunroof are like new and it appears that the sunroof was never used. The body does require repainting but not due to being rotten, it had a few DIY repairs back in the day due to being damaged from pulling into and out from the garage, there are two new old stock front wings with the car and a spare front bumper. My plan was to do the recommissioning and have it repainted, the repaint will be pretty easy due to it not including the roof. I do however acknowledge that some would prefer to buy unpainted in order to see the true condition of the car and in some cases carry out the work themselves, as such the car will be sold unpainted. Car now registered as an historic vehicle and is now MOT and tax exempt. Free delivery may be available these do not come around too often, especially low owner, low milage genuine examples like this. Please call me with any queries.
