1958' Jaguar Mk1 3.4

We at Fender and Broad simply love the Mark I Jaguar. We have bought, played with, upgraded and sold lots of them. This car has the finest body on any Mark I we have ever seen. Quite a brag from a business that has had so many of them. Coming from South Africa it has probably lived a very ‘dry’ existence.

Subject of a rotisserie restoration in South Africa which is documented in the history file the structure of this car is perfect. The door shuts are pin sharp and the door jam is equally perfect. So a magnificent body and excellent old English white paint. The trim contrasts in red leather with refurbished wood and a new roof lining to make a lovely place to sit and cruise along the highways and byways.

The engine is the original one for the car and is super with correct oil pressure as you would expect for a unit with just a few hundred running in miles to its name. The manual overdrive gearbox is equally good for this car. Never the quickest change the unit works correctly and the overdrive is instantaneous and smooth.

So it’s a lovely to just drive away and enjoy OR OR OR You can work with us to make the car a Mike Hawthorn tribute car we think the car could be and should be.
