Beautiful 1962 Jaguar Mark 2 3.4L in opalescent silver blue for sale.
Winner of the Chiltern Hills Vintage Vehicle Rally 'Best Jaguar' and also 'Best in Show' 2017.
This car has had over £45,000 spent on a comprehensive restoration and improvements (all receipts available). Extensive photographic documentation.
Work includes:
- All floor panels and door skins have been replaced with original Jaguar parts.
- Engine overhauled
- Carbs rebuilt
- Power Assisted Steering fitted
- Coopercraft brakes fitted front and rear
- Stainless steel exhaust
- All door locks replaced with new (everything works off one single key)
- Bumpers re-chromed
- All wood interior replaced with new
- Wooden Moto-Lita steering wheel fitted (also have original wheel)
- Headlining replaced
- Rear seat belts fitted
- Comes with original R.F.60 log book issued in 1962
- MOT documents going back to 1983 show that the car has only covered 9,000 miles in the last 35 years!
This car has an agreed insurance valuation of £39,995.
Needs to go to a good home as I really don't get to use it enough.
Note that the cherished number plate will be removed prior to sale.
