Commentaires du vendeur sur 1963' Jaguar Mk2 Mk 2
Finished in Opalescent Dark Green with contrasting Suede Green interior, which to me is the best and most desirable colour combination, with the original alloy wheel trims from new, I believe the mileage is correct from the history that is with her, and the speedometer currently shows 01,000 mile, therefore 101,000. She has only had 5 owners from new and the names and addresses of each are known, she has great provenance which shows this is a genuine car including, - The original registration document, plus the original handbook in its wallet with the lubrication chart, and a workshop manual. - A Jaguar heritage certificate shows the car retains the original chassis, engine and gearbox, - A comprehensive history file documenting the work undertaken back to the early eighties, with invoices totalling over £22,000. The tool kit is present, and complete, in its original metal case and even has the original spare spark plug present, plus the original jack and wheel brace. The car was restored around 10 years ago with new doors skins having been fitted and the car re-sprayed in the original Opalescent Dark green, although now not mint the car remains in very good condition with no rust to be found anywhere and the panels are very straight and not rippled at all, which to me says no filler! The underside of the car is in very good condition and again there is no corrosion to worry about. The engine was fully rebuilt around the same time with 98,000 miles showing, the engine was upgraded by having the flywheel lightened and balanced and the rockers lightened, both of which improve the way the car accelerates, she has also been fitted with twin SU carburettors with auto choke, and an electronic distributor, H/T leads and new plugs. She’s not perfect but is very nice example of these iconic cars, I have purchased new door seals that need fitting and a new slave and master cylinder for the clutch, she could do with new foot well carpet mats and the seats re-conolising to make really nice but as is she is more than presentable and original. She starts on the button and runs well and rides as she should, with that old age smell that money just can’t buy, well it can if you buy her!!! Priced to sell at £17,495
