Commentaires du vendeur sur 1981' Lancia Beta Spider (Zagato) 2.0L

Here is my absolutely amazing Beta Spider in a condition I've not seen elsewhere! A car that in general is almost gone from today's roads due to rust and rot and this one has... no rust or rot, none! She's in from South Africa and on 78,600km (48,840 miles), she has been very well kept in a fantastic climate and is of course right hand drive. The interior is mint and the full leatherette option is a rare one. The chrome work is just beyond compare! The car is fully UK registered with an MOT until March 2018.

She starts and runs superbly every time, I've had the ignition wiring redone recently to ensure this is the case and the new carburetor has just been tuned to run perfectly too. The targa top doesn't leak one bit, unlike old Porsches and the noise of the 2 litre lump with stainless exhaust is gorgeous. New plugs & leads have also been installed, all four wheels (not the spare) have been refurbished to a top level. The driver's window wasn't winding, but I managed to find just about the only mechanism in the world and now it's perfect.

At 36, there are a few bits that can be improved. The vinyl rear window is hazy/ sunbleached in places, the paint has a few little dings and scratches here and there, but really this takes nothing away from this fantastic little piece of history. I honestly don't believe there'll be another in this condition in the UK or even Europe. She's also protected underneath to ensure there's no danger of rust in the future, provided she's not driven on wet, salty roads.
