Commentaires du vendeur sur 1970' Land Rover Series 2 "A" 109
A fully rebuilt/restored and rare series 2A 109. Built on the 20th January 1970 at Solihull, chassis number 276-10663-6 was sent to an estate in Wales where it remained until 2002! In June of 2012 it was decided to fully rebuild this Land Rover, the work was undertaken professionally by a Land Rover specialist at a cost of £25,000, the decision was also taken to improve the vehicle and bring it up to as modern as possible standards. This meant a Fully rebuilt 300 tdi engine and inter-cooler was fitted, along with a Discovery 5 speed gearbox, Fully rebuilt axles, the chassis was completely stripped and Teflon coated, all wheel bearings, bushes, mounts, steering box, drive shafts, prop shafts were brand new, Upgraded wiper motors fitted from a Defender, Defender seats and JLR Heritage carpets fitted, a fully lined and insulated cockpit floor and hard top also fitted, and along with the Discovery heater matrix this is as warm and dry as any Defender! It drives perfectly, sits happily at 75mph and has more if you want it, Paint finish is superb and was painted onto primed bare metal, also included is a brand new Exmoor trim beige canvas tilt and brand new poles. This is a superb Land Rover ready to use and enjoy that needs no excuses.
