1972 MGB Roadster With Overdrive , Original UK RHD Example Subject of an extensive restoration . Presented today as you see in exceptional condition with body colour underside void of corrosion and detailed engine bay . The coachwork has been finished in a none standard but very fitting mid metallic blue and is void of any visible corrosion . Brightwork is beautiful . A walnut dash board fascia has been fitted along with new carpets and also toped by a new hood so in my opinion nothing is required which would benefit this lovely British MGB Open classic . We have just completed a service upon the B Roadster and an MOT will be carried out at point of sale . The 1800 cc motor starts easily and runs with no signs of overheating or low oil pressure . Smooth through the gear box and the clutch operates without fault . Flick the overdrive switch in at 50 MPH and the motor takes a laid back hum. Tyres , Exhaust and battery are all recent and show no signs of wear . By 1972 the B had a 5 bearing motor and an easy to use syncro gearbox . Brakes had been improved with addition of a servo and a reliable charge rate was maintained by an alternator . The MGB Roadster is as popular today as back in its day , appealing to no nonsense open top classic motorists , Happy with there good all round sports car .
