Commentaires du vendeur sur 1946' MG TC
One mechanically sorted, and I do mean sorted, MG TC. This car has benefited from the love and attention of it's long term previous owner, who quite literally wrote the book on SU carburetors.
Over £20,000 has been spent on the car and it is in excellent mechanical order. She has been treated to:
- Rebuilt Edney engine, 1350cc "fast road" specification. Large valves, unleaded head, 13000 miles since rebuild - Ford five speed gearbox (Hi-Gear engineering conversion) - New billet stub axles (as fitted to my own racecar) - Alfin brake drums with twin leading shoe conversion - Stainless steel exhaust system - Rebuilt diff, taper roller bearings, new hubs, half-shafts - All gauges rebuilt by John Marks (Vintage Restorations) - New wheels from MWS, Blockley tyres
The wiring is a work of art, with a clear exploded diagram available with the car and every circuit individually fused. If you're looking for a car to tour, look no further.
Cosmetically the car would benefit from work but it is by no means required. She buffs up to a lovely shine and culd be used "as is" for many years to come.
