4 seater model.
This car was registered on 1st May 1957 so is Road tax and mot exempt.
Taken off the road in 1970 and stored at a well known Morgan dealers where it remained until 2008 at which point the car was sold and a complete restoration was begun.
New chassis purchased from GEE.
Alloy paneled ash body tub, doors, bulkhead, inner wings purchased from Steve Barnes at Vintage Sheet Metal.
New fuel tank, and period wiring loom.
Reconditioned radiator, brakes, steering column, drag links, sidelights and indicators etc.
Original seats recovered ex F H Douglas.
Rear seat recovered and new hood made by S J Bowles.
TR 4 2 litre engine rebuilt with a fast road cam.
High port head uses unleaded fuel.
Lightened crankshaft and fly wheel.
High torque starter motor.
CSI electronic programmable distributor.
Moss gearbox with over drive fitted. Makes the car a superb touring car keeping the revs down.
Electric fan, thermostatically controlled.
Fitted with Koni adjustable shocks on the front and Rutherford adjustable AVO kit at the rear.
Five excellent tyres.
Painted in cellulose Old English White but the paint work is showing its age now with scratches to the front wings and on the louvers where the bonnet strap is fitted.
Any inspection welcome.
