Commentaires du vendeur sur 1968' Morris Mini Cooper
Selling our excellent 1968 Morris Mini MKII Cooper. The Mini Cooper debuted in September 1961, a homologation car, featuring twin SU carburettors, close ratio gearbox and front disk breaks. The MKII Cooper had a 998cc engine and a total of 16,000 were sold.
We purchased the car to make some minor improvements and enjoy it. Now, it’s time for someone else to have the joy of owning this special little car.
Built December 1968, the car was first registered in early 1969 and comes with a heritage certificate confirming this. A matching numbers example, this mini retains its original factory high compression engine with an odometer reading 34,000 miles. Considering the great original condition of the car, I believe this to be the original mileage, supported by the limited history file however it is unwarranted.
On the theme of originality, the car has its original floor pan, a great sign of a lifetime of good maintenance and storage, along with original headlining, rear seat trim and front seat backs.
Presented in its original colour combination (and in my opinion, the best for this model) of Almond green with Snowberry white roof, the car comes with an MOT until June 2018.
Having personally used and enjoyed this car we can confirm that it drives excellently and will be a fantastic asset to its next owner.
We have a small fleet of classic cars, only choosing good examples and, occasionally, moving them on to be enjoyed by someone else We've had our enjoyment with this car and now its time for a change in 2018.

This MKII Mini Cooper is a truly lovely example of the marque and a car to be proud of.
