Commentaires du vendeur sur 1947' Riley Rma
I have for sale my 1947 Riley RMA which is the 1500cc version. I have the green buff log book and full size RM oiling poster and also loads of RM club books. I have had the car for about 4 years and the V5 is in my name. The car has had new door skins on the bottom of all 4 doors, new door cards and the door capping's have been professionally French polished. The carpets are original. This is the far more lovely curved dashboard model with the Jaegar instruments and the heater which was an optional extra!!!. I have had some new wood parts from the Riley RM club replaced in the front curve by the door and new steel capping added. There had been some oxidisation on both front wings which has been cut out and new steel welded in. The chassis appears solid and the car has a new battery. The interior is virtually untouched and the roof felt is good apart from near the front. I have just left this alone. I have cleaned and fed the seats with leather treatment. There is also a period fire extinguisher in the back. The chrome is very good both front and back. The car starts and runs. I move it in and out of the garage only on dry days. I had an initial problem with the brake master cylinder failing so had it professionally cleaned, new piston, seals and spring from the RM club. I have not re bled the system as the car is sat in the garage. The rear brakes are mechanically operated so the handbrake holds the car. I will not be re-bleeding the brakes as I don't have time with work commitments. The front wheel brake cylinders appear new as well. This is a 70 year old car..... This car cannot be driven away and will need to be collected on a trailer. I also have 2 fuel tanks, another radiator and three shelves of other spares I got with the car. These go with the old girl. Sorry its been a bit long and happy to answer any questions. All viewings by arrangement Cheers
