Commentaires du vendeur sur 1967' Rover P5 Coupe
1967 Rover P5 3.0 Coupe FIVA Identity card Mechanically 100% Highly original condition
The Mark III was presented at the London Motor Show in October 1965, described at the time as "even more luxuriously trimmed and furnished". It was again available in two 4-door body styles, coupé and saloon. The Mark III used the same engine as its predecessor, but it now produced 134 horsepower (100 kW). Externally it could be distinguished by the full-length trim strip along the body and Mark III badging; internally it replaced the rear bench seat with two individually moulded rear seats, making it more comfortable to ride in for four occupants but less so for five. A total of 3,919 saloons and 2,501 coupés had been sold by the time production ended in 1967
Arguably one of the prettiest Rover’s ever, our car is mechanically in a very good condition and was maintained to very high standards by her previous owner of 20 years. Since 2000 the following work was carried out by a leading Rover specialist in The Netherlands. Invoices are present to a total of Euro 15,000 • Rebuilt of the entire brake system • Rebuilt of the entire suspension • Complete Rebuilt of the Engine and Gearbox
The handling of the car is outstanding and is a truly luxurious experience reflecting the car’s alternate name as the “poor man’s Rolls Royce”. The spectacular looks and the patina of this original and not over-restored car offer a unique time-machine experience. The car is definitely fit for daily use and/or the occasional road trip. The car comes with a full binder with all relevant invoices and documentation. Dutch Technical inspection is valid until May 2021.
