Commentaires du vendeur sur 1940' Standard Child’S Car
A very interesting piece of motoring history. Possibly the only one in existence
A circa 1940 Standard Motor Company Child’s petrol driven motor car
Recent complete restoration (please request photos) and therefore in beautiful condition
Known ownership history from the early 1940’s. We believe the car was commissioned by Sir John Black (possibly a number of them, but as we understand this is the only one in the world)
A Mr Buckler acquired the car in the early 40’s and gave it to his 10 year old son who drove around in it locally for a few years...until asked by the local policemen to stop using the car on public pavements and roads!
The car was then left in the garden and forgotten about until it was rediscovered in 2016 and restored by my client over a two year period
In 2019 the car was displayed on the Standard Motor Company’s Classic Car stand at the NEC
Around 7ft long, in full working order and ready to go
Great investment at £7500
