TRULY A "BARN FIND"!

"OSCAR" WAS RUNNING WELL AND LOOKING PRETTY GOOD BUT 10 + YEARS AGO THE OWNER DECIDED TO PERFORM A FULL RESTORATION AND SHE WAS PULLED AND STORED INSIDE.

BEFORE THE RESTORATION WAS HALTED THE HAND RAILS WERE REMOVED AND SOME PREP WORK FOR REPAINTING HAS BEEN PERFORMED. ALL THE CHROME HAS BEEN REMOVED, DOUBLE DIP REPLATED AND STORED OFF SITE. ALL THE PIECES ARE THERE TO REASSEMBLE HER AFTER THE RESTORATION.

SHE'S POWERED BY TWIN 427 FORD GAS ENGINES THAT WERE RUNNING WELL WHEN SHE WAS PULLED. THE WINTERIZATION WAS PERFORMED BY THE QUALITY BOAT YARD WHERE SHE IS NOW STORED.

FAST FORWARD TO TODAY AND THE OWNER IS DEALING WITH SOME HEALTH PROBLEMS AND HAS DECIDED TO SELL THIS CLASSIC CHRIS-CRAFT.

RESTORED CLASSIC CHRIS-CRAFT COMMANDERS ARE VERY POPULAR AND BRING AMAZING PRICES WHEN THEY ARE RESTORED. EVERYBODY LOVES A CLASSIC CHRIS-CRAFT.

"OSCAR" IS READY FOR A NEW OWNER TO BRING HER BACK TO THE SAME "PROPER MOTOR YACHT STANDARDS" THAT SHE WAS IN 1969. NOTE!! WE HAVE SOME OF THE ORIGINAL PAPER WORK IN OUR FILES.
